Closure

Everyone's looking for closure these days. Closure is that precious commodity that we simper for, work our angst up against, beg for, get cynical about, wait our entire lives for. It's become the catch-all term for what we're really looking for, which doesn't sound as cool: peace, and just a night of whimperless, restful sleep for crying out loud.

Everyone has always been looking for closure, it seems. Since Adam and Eve, and the fall from grace. We've been going off tangent ever since, looking for closure wherever we can, except where we should, and putting the job of salvation into the hands of mere people, as if grace was any human's gift to give.

The Messiah you are looking for is Jesus.
