Kapihan sa Kanto

Listen: this is important. Whatever the world tells you, and however much it conspires to deceive you, don't waver in what you have believed in when you met Christ. We serve the living God, and there is no other god. There is no redemption to be found around here, and no rest, no relief for this burden of walking the narrow path. Even if this world tried to fill you with all that it can, you would still be empty, and you know it; so stop searching.

Instead, look up. (The skies are never empty.)

I know because He assured me of this yesterday, and He told me to tell you, and now He's telling you to tell the others.

I'm coming to be convinced that to keep sane in this world, we have to keep shouting it to each other among the din, humming it to ourselves in the morning shower, and crying tears of joy over it at every meal, until He comes.



Isaiah 35:3-4 With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. Say to those who are afraid, "Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you."
